# Access Events
You can access all the events available in the portal to learn more about them such as the event description, agenda, venue, timings, etc. You can also contact the event coordinator to know more about the events they are working on.
There are two ways to get to know about new events in the portal
# Access all events
NOTE
- If an event is in the draft state, only the Event Administrator and the Event Coordinator for that event can access the event.
- Portal Administrator can access all events irrespective of their status
# Who Can Perform This Task?
- Anyone who can access the volunteering portal
# Procedure
- Access the following URL: https://v-hub-frontend-stg.firebaseapp.com
- Open the sidebar and access
Events
menu item. - You will see a list of upcoming events along with the details of each event.
- Similarly when you open the sidebar again and you can access Past Events, All Events, Recent Events and optionally Partner Events. Partner Events are those events that have specific volunteering partner associated with it instead of open for all events.
- Use the pagination widget to navigate to other pages where available.
- Additionally, you can filter the list by various criterion e.g. name, category, id, etc.
# Next Steps
# Subscribe for Events
All users of the portal are automatically subscribed to newsletter during account creation. When you subscribe for newsletter, you will receive email notifications when a new event is looking for volunteers. You can customize what kind of event should be part of the newsletter in your account settings.
You will receive an email gist once every week based on your email notification preferences. If there are no events satisfying your preferences available for registrations on the date of notification, you will not receive any email.

- Follow the steps in Manage Your Account to update your email notification preferences
# Access Impact Dashboard
The volunteering Impact Dashboard showcases the following metrics:
- The number of volunteers registered on the portal
- The total number of volunteering hours recorded by all volunteers
- The total number of beneficiaries impacted across all completed events
- The total number of completed events until now
This dashboard highlights the entire effort of all volunteers across multiple events.

- Open the sidebar and click on menu titled
Share an idea
. - Enter all the fields in the form shown. The fields marked * are mandatory.
- Select Submit.
- An email will be sent to the portal administrator, who will contact you in sometime.
