The “Upskilling with AI Tools” session is designed to help students understand how Artificial Intelligence can be used in everyday work and learning. The session will introduce practical AI tools and their applications for improving productivity, saving time, and completing tasks more effectively. Students will learn how AI can support activities such as content creation, research, communication, data analysis, problem-solving, and other professional tasks. The session will also highlight the importance of developing AI skills to stay competitive and prepared for the changing workplace. Through practical examples and discussions, students will gain confidence in using AI tools responsibly and effectively for their academic and professional growth.

A STEM session on Internet of Things (IoT) was conducted to introduce students to the concepts of smart technology, sensors, connectivity, and automation. Students explored how everyday devices can be connected and controlled using technology. Through hands-on activities and project-based learning, they learned about basic IoT components and their practical applications in real-life situations. The session encouraged students to think creatively, solve problems, and develop innovative ideas while strengthening their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The “Navigating Imposter Syndrome: Building Tools for Genuine Self-Confidence” session is designed to help students understand self-doubt and the feeling of not being good enough, even when they have the required skills and abilities. The session will help students identify negative thoughts, understand their strengths, and develop practical ways to build genuine self-confidence. Students will also learn how to handle comparison, fear of failure, and self-doubt in their personal, academic, and professional lives.

A creative craft activity session was organized to encourage students to explore their imagination, creativity, and artistic skills. Students actively participated in making beautiful craft items using simple and easily available materials. The session provided an opportunity for them to learn new techniques, express their ideas, and develop patience, concentration, and fine motor skills. It was an enjoyable and engaging learning experience that promoted creativity, teamwork, and confidence among the students.

WIT - Coimbatore Nirmaan team, in collaboration with the Bisleri CSR Team, is organizing a Volunteering Programme on Waste Management and Plastic Recycling for its beneficiaries. This initiative aims to educate and inspire participants to adopt sustainable waste management practices and contribute to a cleaner, greener environment. The programme will feature interactive awareness sessions conducted by Bisleri CSR volunteers, focusing on the importance of waste segregation, responsible plastic disposal, recycling processes, and the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3Rs) Participants will gain practical knowledge on how small everyday actions can significantly reduce plastic pollution and protect natural resources.

We brought the Nirmaan beneficiaries to the State Street Corporate Office for a corporate exposure visit. During the visit, the State Street team conducted an orientation session about the company, introducing the beneficiaries to its work culture, operations, and career opportunities. In addition, the team conducted soft skills sessions to help the beneficiaries enhance their communication, professional etiquette, and workplace readiness. The visit provided valuable industry exposure and learning opportunities for the participants.
